Our Elderberry No Added Sugar Concentrate (also called Elderberry Syrup or Glaze) has a tart, crisp and clean flavour with the same stunning rich ruby-red colour as our original Elderberry Syrup. Elderberry can be used in the kitchen, and is also renowned for its health benefits, perfect to help you through the cold and flu season.

Australian Elderberry with no added sugar

Sweetened with grape for a winning burst of berry flavour, with no artificial sweeteners or any other added sugar.

Both of our varieties of Elderberry Concentrate contain the same concentration of elderberries. The only difference is that our original Elderberry Concentrate is sweetened with cane sugar.

Available in two bottle sizes. The full size 375ml offers the best value and the half size 187ml is perfect for tastings or gifts.

Ingredients: Fresh elderberries, grape juice concentrate.

How to use Elderberry Syrup

For meat - as a glaze on roast or barbecue meats – duck, lamb, beef, pork; in stews, shanks or Bolognese.

With desserts - drizzle over cheesecakes, ice-cream, yoghurt; macerate fresh fruit – strawberries, raspberries etc; pour on pancakes or crepes; in a sorbet or jelly; with apple or pear tart or crumble.

For non-alcoholic drinks - take neat with crushed ice or top with soda or mineral water. Make into a tea with with warm water for a high anti-oxidant pick-me-up – add fresh cloves or ginger if desired.

With alcohol - add to gin, vodka, brandy or campari with soda water or tonic water as desired; swirl in a cocktail glass with sparkling wine; marinate chopped strawberries with equal parts elderberry and gin / vodka.

Elderberries have long used to treat influenza, colds, coughs and upper respiratory, bacterial and viral infections. Try it on yoghurt, icecream pancakes. With meat dishes (just delicious in gravies, stews and bolognaise) or drizzled over lamb chops. Or as a beverage with sparkling water (and/or alcohol) or as a herbal tea.

Elderberry has nearly 3 times the antioxidant value of cranberries and blueberries so is a great natural way to fight colds and flu for the whole family. Or you can try our elderberry and manuka all natural ingredients (with 300+ Tasmanian Manuka honey, a little cinnamon and star anise, and orange zested immediately prior to bottling).

Aussie grown goodness

I love elderberry and I was so glad when I found Ashbolt farm's site because not only is it Australian made but there is no added preservatives! We love to drink it with lemon lime soda water and it is a super refreshing combo,perfect for a hot summers afternoon.

Yes we strongly believe in natural foods processed as optimally as possible. None of our products have preservatives, so you might like to try the rest of the range next time .... including 'the world's best salad dressing' - which is so delicious you almost want to drink it out of the bottle!
